Boston and New York Pics
Nate in Copley Square (oh, did I mention we went to Boston too?)
Trinity Church in Boston. On the way back to NYC we stopped at a farmer’s market that spread all along the square. Mmmmmm …
We stayed with Ryan and Barbara in Boston. Ryan had been up since 3:30 a.m. but his efforts paid off — he brought home fresh ahi tuna steaks and toro sashimi from the Bluefin tuna he’d caught. SO COOL! SO DELICIOUS!!!
Back in NY … Nate’s imitating a dinosaur at the Museum of Natural History. I don’t think he’s very convincing.
I have no idea what kind of animal I’m imitating, but it’s scary looking. I’m definitely not convincing.
Obama is being driven past all these people in one of the black SUVs. He was in New York for the 9/11 ceremoies. He waved at us
After Obama had left the premises and the street was opened up again to regular people, we joined our friends Sven and Dee and new pal, restaurant manager Joe at Asaro Restaurant for sushi and sake bombs.
We didn’t quite realize a challenge was brewing…
Sake bomb #1 for Nate and Joe
Sake bomb #2 for Nate and Joe
Sake bomb #3 for Nate and Joe
Sake bomb #4 for Nate and Joe
… You get the idea. They went over ten rounds (I lost count) and then the next morning, we went all hung out as a family. Lucky Nate. He was so chipper!
We went to Wall Street…
… We visited Battery Park
… We took the ferry
… We saw the Statue of Liberty
And fun was had by all
